Can you install a fan where there's only a light fitting?
Usually yes — we can convert an existing light point to run a fan, or a fan with a light, and add a switch or remote to control it. We'll check the ceiling and wiring first and let you know if anything extra is needed.
Do you supply the fan or should I buy my own?
Either works. Plenty of customers buy their own fan and we fit it; others would rather we supply a good one. Tell us which you'd prefer and we'll sort it.
Can you install ceiling fans outdoors?
Yes — for alfresco, patio and outdoor areas we fit fans that are rated for the location, so the damp and coastal air don't wreck them early. Not every fan is built for outside, so we'll steer you to the right one.
How long does it take to install a ceiling fan?
A straightforward fan swap is quick — often under an hour or two. Adding a fan to a spot that only had a light, or running a new control, takes a bit longer. We'll give you a clear idea when you call.
